How to use it

Here’s a standard procedure for applying gel colour (adapted to “Gel Addiction” style):

  • Prepare the nail

  • Apply base gel Cure the base coat under UV / LED according to its instructions

  • Apply “Gel Addiction” colour gel

    • Shake / mix the colour gel gently (if recommended)

    • Apply a thin, even first coat (cover free edge)

    • Cure under the required lamp (LED / UV) for 60 seconds

  • Apply second

    • Cure each coat

  • Apply top / finish / sealing layer

    • Use a top coat or sealing gel to protect the colour

    • Cure as required

  • Remove inhibition layer (if any)

    • Some top coats leave a tacky layer; wipe off with alcohol or cleanser

  • Soak‑off / removal (later)

    • File topcoat surface to break seal

    • Soak nails in acetone or gel removal solution under foil or wraps

    • Gently push / lift off remaining gel

    • Clean / buff / nourish nails

Notes / best practices:

  • Use thin layers — too thick can lead to improper curing or lifting

  • Always cure for the full recommended time (lamp strength matters)

  • Seal the free edge with each coat

  • Avoid touching skin / cuticles with the gel

  • Use good ventilation and safety (gloves, mask) when working with uncured gel
