What the product is:
A colour gel that is cured under UV/LED light to form a hard, glossy, long‑lasting coloured layer on the natural nail.
It is typically a soak‑off gel (meaning you can remove it later with acetone or appropriate remover) rather than a permanent bonding gel.
Used in manicure / gel nail services to provide durable, chip‑resistant, high gloss colour finish.
Benefits:
Long wear / chip resistance (often 2–4 weeks, depending on application & nail conditions)
Intense, saturated colour and smooth finish
Glossy, high shine once cured
Color stability (less fading)
Ease of layering (thin coats built up for opacity)
Soak‑off removal (if designed)
Good adhesion to base gel / base coat
Compatibility with UV / LED curing lamps

How to use it
Here’s a standard procedure for applying gel colour (adapted to “Gel Addiction” style):
Prepare the nail
Apply base gel Cure the base coat under UV / LED according to its instructions
Apply “Gel Addiction” colour gel
Shake / mix the colour gel gently (if recommended)
Apply a thin, even first coat (cover free edge)
Cure under the required lamp (LED / UV) for 60 seconds
Apply second
Cure each coat
Apply top / finish / sealing layer
Use a top coat or sealing gel to protect the colour
Cure as required
Remove inhibition layer (if any)
Some top coats leave a tacky layer; wipe off with alcohol or cleanser
Soak‑off / removal (later)
File topcoat surface to break seal
Soak nails in acetone or gel removal solution under foil or wraps
Gently push / lift off remaining gel
Clean / buff / nourish nails
Notes / best practices:
Use thin layers — too thick can lead to improper curing or lifting
Always cure for the full recommended time (lamp strength matters)
Seal the free edge with each coat
Avoid touching skin / cuticles with the gel
Use good ventilation and safety (gloves, mask) when working with uncured gel
